Horace Smith

I see in The Guardian this morning that Horace Smith passed away, he was 93 and was married for 68 years.
Horace ran Smith Auto Body in Parkdale for many years, on St Peters Road ( A great Kenny Burke story here) and then on Beasley Ave.
We had alot of fun at the shop on saturday afternoons.
Horace and Mrs Smith both attended the reunion last June at the school and we appreciated them making the effort to attend.
Horace was one of the "greatest" generation who left their homes as young men and fought some of the most evil men the world has seen.
Thankyou Horace, well done.

TREMTONES

Two Parkdale Boys were honoured at the ECMA'S last Sunday night, as a tribute to The Tremtones. Niall mackay and Doug Macewen, Parkdale Jr. High Grads and late night patrons of Barry's Snack Bar.
Click on the Play button and listen to them , recorded at The Rollaway on a Reel to Reel machine.
Well deserved guys, I bet Joe has the big light spinning out of control.
